The eagles eggs have finally hatched and they are growing everyday! I hope that your child has taken some time to share what they have seen with the baby eagles.  We are convinced that they parents brought up a stuff animal....go ahead and check it out for yourself. 
The website is  www.hancockwildlife.org  Once you are on the site click on "live cameras" and then go to "White Rock" from there you can see two different views. I suggest looking at both, one is a close of up of the nest and the second is an areal view. It is AMAZING to see how big the nest is and how high it truly is.

Math
4th grade- We are working on Review of MSP
*Something helpful you can do is have a deck of cards and pull out 4-6 cards. As a family you can find the mean, median, mode and range!

5th grade We are working  on Review for MSP

students will have some sort of math homework every  night.  If you have questions please check out the visual tutorial. Your child will be able to guide you through the visual tutorial.

Technology
we have just started working on Mevis Bekin which is a keyboard skill. Students will also be working with Microsoft word, power point and excel (graphs) this year. 
Students will be putting together a voice thread of our published works, I am hoping to get permission to upload it hear for you to hear our class share their work in a different way.

PE
We are now playing the games that Mr. Tully has taught the students and they are having a lot of fun!
Language Arts
We are working on biographies, your child should have shown you the book of their choice. They also need to get parent signatures to show that you are okay with this book. We will do a gallery walk and allow students to share about their biographer.
Science
We will be looking at magnetics and electricity.
