HIV/AIDS Reproductive Health
The topic of STDs, HIV/AIDS and sexual health are sensitive. Due to the sensitive nature of this teaching, we have worked hard to create a curriculum that meets OSPI’s requirement while considering the values and interests of our district families. Please know our staff is trained to lead discussions that recognize value-based questions. When these questions arise, our teachers do not share their personal opinions. Instead, they will help students recognize that some health, relationship and sexual choices are determined by family and the norms of a culture. Please partner with us in your child’s education during this unit of study.
