Green Mountain School is nestled among the tall trees in North Clark County, Washington, about halfway between Woodland and Amboy. Our main building was built in 1932 and was a two-room schoolhouse. In 1993-1994, it was remodeled and now houses four classrooms.

The modular building (center) was added in 1995 to accommodate our growing student body. Other buildings on our campus include the gymnasium/cafeteria (on the far left), bus garage (on the far right, and our special education building (hidden by the trees in between the modular and garage).

This is the cottage which currently houses our Special Education program and other special student services.
Historically, back when the school had only two classrooms, the teacher(s) lived in this house while employed by the school.

In 2005, we put “on-line” two more updated modular buildings that will greatly expand our educational abilities. Here, we added an art room and science/technology lab, and two more classrooms. In addition, we expanded our lunchroom and had a complete facility painting.
In 2010, our art room was moved to the stage area in the gymnasium. The room will be able to not only host art classes, but also continue to serve as the stage for school and community programs - complete with curtains, lights, and sound system.
